The film “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens” will have a U.S. theatrical debut in July 2019, a milestone that will mark the first time the film has appeared in theaters outside of the United States.

The film will premiere on a “non-traditional theatrical format,” Disney announced on Monday.
