Why you should take part in the public surplus auctions

With the public sector expected to see $2.7 trillion in revenue in 2019, governments are keen to auction off unused government assets to the highest bidder.

The auctions have long been controversial, however, with concerns raised that the auctions would have a detrimental effect on the environment, health, and public finances.

The auction process is an opportunity to save money for the government, however it can also have the potential to create a huge amount of waste that is detrimental to the environment. 

In the coming months, we will be following the auction process and will be taking part in them to understand the impact of the auctions and their impacts on the economy.
